My Background

With a passion for interior design spanning over 12 years and 3 cities, I am an accomplished interior designer with experience in commercial, residential, mixed-use, model home and retail design.  

After graduating from SDSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, my design career took me from San Diego to New York City to Los Angeles, and back to San Diego.  In New York I worked on exclusive, high-end residential projects, as well as hospitality design.  My next endeavor led me to a commercial design-build company, a completely different yet equally compelling experience.  Working in collaboration with structural engineers, estimators, and project managers provided another level of insight for my design experience.  Highlights from my time in Los Angeles include high-end residential design spanning Tarzana to Palos Verdes and Malibu to Calabasas, as well as hotel hospitality projects and mixed-use, high-rise condos.

When I returned to San Diego with a growing family, I shifted careers to real estate.  This allowed for a flexible schedule but still gave me opportunity to discuss the use/ potential of interior spaces and offer design services to my real estate clients.  Projects include a complete beach condo remodel, a new-build guest house in Del Mar, and a mid-century modern remodel in La Jolla.

My most current interior design experience is with model home design at Within Design where I designed models in San Diego and throughout the Sacramento area.
